Attorney Wagner was born and raised in Galion, Ohio, and has practiced law in North Central Ohio for over 30 years. He is a graduate of Galion Senior High School and obtained his BA and BS in Business Administration, as well as Juris Doctorate, from Ohio Northern University.
His areas of practice include: personal injury, wrongful death, divorce, dissolution, family law encompassing custody and support, business formation, wills, estates, chapter 7 bankruptcy and a number of additional areas of law.
He is committed to serving his profession and his community. That is evident being recognized as a past President of the Crawford County Bar Association and as a current member of the Character and Fitness and Family Law Committees. Wagner is also a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, a fellow with the Ohio State Bar Foundation and is a former delegate to the Ohio State Bar Association’s Counsel of Delegates.
Wagner’s experience has lead him to be licensed to practice in the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio. Attorney Jay Wagner has also practiced before the Ohio Supreme Court. On the local level, he is a former President for the Galion Community Center – YMCA, serves as a legal advisor on the Leadership Team of the Free Methodist Conference and he is a member of Grace Point Free Methodist Church in Galion.
